4 in 1 commode, shower chair, raised toilet seat and transport chair · 136 kg maximum load · Seat 48 cm x 42.5 cm at 54 cm high · Overall 48.5 cm wide x 104.5 cm high · Four swivel castors with brakes · 8.8 kg

Bathroom routines are where most of the effort sits in daily care, and they are also where most of the risk sits. This chair takes on four jobs that would otherwise need separate equipment. It works as a bedside commode with a removable pan, rolls into the shower as a shower chair, wheels over a standard toilet so the pan can come out and the chair becomes a raised toilet seat, and doubles as an attendant propelled transport chair for the trip between rooms. For a household that would otherwise be buying and storing three or four items, that consolidation is the point.

The frame is metal with an anti rust coating and thick gauge plastic panels, built for the wet environment it lives in, and it carries up to 136 kg. Four swivel castors with brakes let a carer position it precisely and lock it off before a transfer. The armrests lift out of the way for a side transfer, and the padded waterproof PU cushion can be lifted off to expose the commode aperture underneath. A push button safety belt runs between the armrests for the user to hold or fasten while moving. The footrest folds away when it is not needed and adjusts through six positions, which is what shortens the overall length from 80 cm down to 57 cm for tight bathrooms and narrow hallways. At 8.8 kg the whole chair is light enough for one person to reposition.

Product Features

• Four functions in one chair: bedside commode, shower chair, raised toilet seat over a standard pan, and attendant propelled transport chair.
• 136 kg maximum load: a working capacity that suits a wider range of users than a standard shower stool.
• Corrosion resistant frame: metal construction with an anti rust coating and thick gauge plastic, made for daily use in a wet bathroom.
• Four swivel castors with brakes: turn on the spot in a small bathroom, then lock off so the chair stays put during a transfer.
• Armrests that lift clear: opens up the side of the chair for a sliding transfer from a bed, a wheelchair or a seat.
• Push button safety belt: fastens across the front between the armrests and releases with one hand.
• Waterproof PU seat cushion: padded for longer sitting and wipes down after use, lifting off to expose the commode aperture.
• Commode pan with concealed cover: slides out from behind for emptying and the cover keeps it discreet between uses.
• 6 position stowable footrest: adjusts to leg length and folds away, bringing the overall length from 80 cm down to 57 cm.
• Ventilated backrest: perforated panel with a push handle above it for the person doing the pushing.
• 8.8 kg total weight: light enough for one carer to move, lift over a shower hob or stow between uses.

Perfect For

• Home bathrooms: rolls into a hobless shower and locks off, so showering can happen seated without a separate stool.
• Bedside overnight: the commode pan means a night time toilet trip does not have to become a walk down the hallway.
• Over an existing toilet: remove the pan and wheel the chair over a standard pan for a raised toilet seat with armrests to push up from.
• Recovery after surgery or injury: covers the weeks when standing, balancing or walking to the bathroom is not safe yet.
• Aged care and disability facilities: one chair covering four tasks reduces what a room needs to hold and what staff need to move.
• Moving between rooms: the push handle and swivel castors make short transfers around the house manageable for one person.
