The battery sits inside a moulded case measuring 23.5 cm wide, 19.5 cm high and 33.5 cm deep, and the whole unit weighs 9.25 kg. A recessed carry handle runs across the top, and the case is shaped with a saddle cutout so it drops over the scooter's centre column and locates in one movement. The charge socket and the output connector are both on the case, so charging happens with the pack on or off the scooter, whichever suits. Sealed lead acid construction means there is no fluid to top up and no maintenance beyond charging it sensibly.
