Drive It or Push It Yourself with the Infinity Solo Self Propel Electric Wheelchair

Integrated carbon fibre frame · 16.16 kg without battery · 150 kg maximum user weight · 20 inch self propel rear wheels · Electric and manual modes · GST free

Most powered wheelchairs make the decision for you. This one does not. The Infinity Solo Self Propel Electric Wheelchair carries 20 inch rear wheels with hand rims, so you can propel yourself the way you would in a manual chair, and a joystick with dual hub motors for when you would rather not. Use your arms across the flat stretch of a shopping centre, switch to power for the hill on the way home. It is designed to assist people who have reduced lower limb mobility but retain upper body strength, and as with any powered mobility device, an occupational therapist or healthcare professional is the right person to confirm it suits your individual needs.

The frame is a single integrated carbon fibre structure rather than a manual chair with a power unit bolted on, which means one device to charge, one device to service and one set of controls to learn. Unfolded it measures 57 cm wide, 104 cm long and 88 cm tall, with a 43 cm seat width, 41 cm seat depth and 46 cm between the armrests. It folds to 81 cm high and 23 cm wide. At 16.16 kg without the battery it supports users up to 150 kg, which is a higher limit than most carbon fibre powered chairs on the Australian market carry. A dual suspension shock absorbing front fork takes the edge off footpath joints and kerb transitions.

Product Features

• 20 inch self propel rear wheels: hand rims let you push yourself, so the chair supports upper body activity rather than replacing it.
• Electric and manual modes: switch between joystick control and self propelling as the day and the terrain require.
• 150 kg maximum user weight: a higher limit than most carbon fibre powered chairs in this class.
• Integrated carbon fibre frame: one purpose built device rather than a manual chair plus a separate bolt on power head, so there is nothing to fit, align or remove.
• 16.16 kg without battery: light for a chair with 20 inch drive wheels and a 150 kg load rating.
• Dual suspension shock absorbing front fork: sprung travel at the front castors smooths out uneven footpaths and kerb edges.
• Intelligent electromagnetic braking: the chair stops and holds when the joystick is released, which matters on a slope or a ramp.
• Smart LCD controller: battery level, trip distance, five speed settings and a horn, laid out with large buttons.
• Flip up armrests: clear the side of the seat for transfers to a bed, a car seat or a dining chair.
• Removable lithium ion battery: lifts out from under the seat so it can come indoors to charge.
• Folds to 23 cm wide: stands in a cupboard or against a wall between uses.
• Rear storage pocket and anti tip castors: somewhere for the essentials, and a stability backstop at the rear.

Perfect For

• Active users: keeps self propelling available for anyone who wants to stay physically engaged rather than always riding.
• Mixed distance days: arms for short indoor stretches, power for the long or uphill sections, without changing chairs.
• Home: a 57 cm width and a 23 cm folded footprint suit standard doorways and household storage.
• Shopping centres and appointments: covers ground under power and manoeuvres in tight aisles under your own control.
• Larger users: the 150 kg limit opens up carbon fibre powered mobility to people the lighter chairs exclude.
• Carers and family: push handles at the rear mean the chair can be attendant pushed when needed.
