Clamps to standard underarm crutches · Height adjustable 16 to 21cm · Aluminium frame · 136kg load capacity · 17 x 11cm contoured foam pad · 640g
Getting around after a lower leg, ankle or foot injury can mean keeping weight off that leg while still needing to move about. The SectorCare Crutch Knee Holder clamps onto a standard underarm crutch and gives the bent knee a contoured, padded rest, so the injured lower leg can stay raised off the ground at home, along hospital corridors or at the clinic. For carers, families and aged care staff, it is a simple add on that works with the crutches the person already uses.
The bracket is high strength aluminium, rated to a 136kg load capacity, with a two plate screw clamp that fits around the crutch frame. A slotted adjustment plate with multiple mounting holes lets you set the overall height anywhere from 16 to 21cm, so the pad can be positioned to suit the user. The solid foam pad measures 17 x 11cm and has a dished centre that cradles the knee. The whole unit is 16cm wide and 18cm deep and weighs just 640g, so it adds very little to the crutch.
