30.5cm strap · 11.5cm across the cuff · 2.5cm wide webbing · 0.01kg · adjustable hook and loop closure · 2 spare strips included · cutlery not included · GST free
Most people do not want new cutlery. They want to keep using the knife, fork and spoon already in the drawer. The SectorCare Adaptive Utensil Holding Strap makes that possible without any grip at all. Two cross tabs form a sleeve that clamps the utensil handle against the palm, and the 30.5cm strap wraps the hand and fastens back on itself. The utensil stays put whether or not the fingers can close. Fitting it takes two steps, slide the handle under the tabs and slip the hand through the loop.
The whole thing is soft webbing at 0.01kg, so it sits against the skin without pressure points and adds nothing noticeable to the hand. A plastic slider buckle sets the length, and the hook and loop closure adjusts across a wide range of hand sizes, which matters in a shared aged care or rehabilitation setting where one strap may pass between people. Two spare 11cm hook and loop strips come in the pack. It works with knives, forks, spoons and a range of other everyday handles such as pens and toothbrushes.
Losing grip does not have to mean losing the cutlery you have always used. This 30.5cm utensil holding strap wraps the hand in soft webbing, holds any standard handle against the palm and fastens with hook and loop to suit a wide range of hand sizes, all at 0.01kg. Suited to home dining, aged care and nursing home settings, hospital bedsides, occupational therapy and rehabilitation programs and eating out, and supplied GST free across Australia. Cutlery is not included.

Two steps. Slide the utensil handle under the tabs, then slip the hand through the loop and fasten the hook and loop closure.
Will it fit my hand?
