Warranty Disclaimer

Retail Display Direct Pty Ltd offers a standard 12 month manufacturer’s warranty for all products sold on retaildisplaydirect.com.au

For some products, extended 2 years, 3 years and up to 10 years warranty are offered for extra peace of mind. (Please refer to each individual product page for clarification on the warranty periods)

Retail Display Direct’s warranty represents our pride and confidence in that our products will meet the highest standards for both commercial and private use. Please see below for further explanation on your warranty rights:

 

1. What does this warranty cover?

This warranty covers defects in manufacturing fault and/or materials of any Retail Display Direct product that has only been utilised for its intended purpose and is installed in accordance with recommended methods.

This warranty also covers all items damaged during transport, purchaser needs to provide photographic evidence within 30 days of receiving the item, please refer to our “Shipping & Returns” page for further information.

2. What does this warranty NOT cover?

This manufacturer’s warranty does not cover defects or flaws caused due to:

  1. Abnormal use or abuse causing physical damage to the product
  2. Not following operating or care instructions
  3. Poor or sub-standard installation
  4. Change of mind
  5. Normal wear and tear
  6. Exposure to extreme weather conditions

3. Who does this warranty cover?

This warranty covers everyone who purchased the product directly from Retail Display Direct. Please retain a copy of your order confirmation email or tax invoice as proof of purchase. Retail Display Direct reserves the right to reject any warranty claims without evidence of purchase. The warranty benefit is reserved for the original purchaser only and is not transferable upon resale.

4. When does the warranty start?

The warranty starts when the product is received by the purchaser and ends in the specified period depending on each individual product. The warranty period does not restart if a successful warranty claim is made

5. Steps to make a warranty claim

Please send an email to sales@retaildisplaydirect.com.au with a brief description and attach a photo of the condition or problem that you believe will be assessed as manufacturing fault or defect. Please also quote your original order number or tax invoice number as proof of purchase.

Retail Display Direct reserve all rights to request further information or inspect the item physically before accepting any warranty claims.

The return of the product in question is the responsibility of the purchaser; this includes the financial cost of transporting the item back to our warehouse in Sydney.

6. Granting a warranty claim

Once Retail Display Direct has gathered all evidence necessary to assess the claim, we may offer to repair, replace or refund (or partial refund) the product. The cost to resend the product back to the purchaser is paid by Retail Display Direct. While all efforts will be taken to ensure our customers are happy and well looked after, we reserve all rights to determine whether the warranty claim is covered under our warranty. The purchaser cannot request refund specifically if replacements are available unless agreed by Retail Display Direct.
